1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, uploading video cuts, or accessing review rooms on Proofcut (https://proofcut.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Ownership of Your Creative Work & Zero AI Training Guarantee
You retain complete, unencumbered ownership and intellectual property rights over all video footage, audio tracks, graphics, and annotations uploaded to Proofcut. Proofcut claims zero ownership or licensing rights over your creative assets.
Zero AI Model Training Guarantee: Proofcut will never scrape, inspect, harvest, or train artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models on your private video footage, raw dailies, client notes, or vector drawings. Your commercial projects remain strictly confidential.
3. Subscription Tiers & Fair Flat Pricing
Proofcut operates on transparent flat-rate pricing with zero hidden fees, zero bandwidth penalties, and zero per-seat charges for client reviewers:

4. Device Allowances, Account Integrity & Fair Use
Proofcut subscriptions are licensed for single-user or single-studio creative workflows. Active concurrent workstation sessions are allocated as follows:
- Starter Free: Up to 1 active device session.
- Pro Creator: Up to 2 concurrent active devices (e.g., primary studio editing desktop and field laptop).
- Agency Studio: Up to 5 concurrent studio suite devices.
- Client Review Rooms: Strictly unlimited client and stakeholder devices with zero login required.
Sharing verification codes or syndicating account access across unaffiliated third parties or automated scrapers to circumvent device or storage limits constitutes a violation of these Terms and may result in session termination.
5. Video Deletion & User-Initiated Storage Reclamation
You maintain complete sovereignty over your creative assets. When you choose to delete a video cut from your studio dashboard:
- All media versions, raw video files, client timecode comments, and vector markup shapes are immediately and permanently purged from active storage.
- Your account storage and project quota limits are reclaimed in real time.
- Public review links are instantly invalidated, directing any future visitors to a secure not-found screen.
6. Payment Processing, Renewal Reminders & Storage Retention Policy
Payments are securely processed via our PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant gateway partner (Midtrans), supporting QRIS, Indonesian Virtual Accounts (BCA, Mandiri, BNI, BRI), e-wallets, and Visa/Mastercard.
A. Renewal Heads-Up Notifications
Because Indonesian payment channels (QRIS, bank transfers) require manual push authorization, Proofcut sends automated reminder emails 7 days and 2 days prior to subscription expiration. These emails contain your direct, 1-click renewal link to prevent studio disruptions.
B. 3-Day Complimentary Grace Period
If your billing period elapses without renewal, Proofcut grants a 3-day grace period. During these 72 hours, all your active client review links, 200 GB or 1 TB storage limits, and high-bitrate uploads remain 100% active and uninterrupted so in-progress commercial deliveries are never broken.
C. Project Intelligence & Feedback Preservation Guarantee
Proofcut permanently preserves your project intelligence, timestamped notes, client approvals, and frame-accurate NLE markers in our database. Client feedback history is never deleted upon subscription lapse.
D. Media Retention, Inactivity & Storage Reclamation Policy
To protect server infrastructure from indefinite abandonment while keeping costs zero for creators:
- Starter Free Cuts: Free review projects remain in active review mode for 30 days from creation, after which they enter read-only archive mode. Free accounts with no login activity for 60 consecutive days will receive an automated email notice providing 14 days to log in or download media before raw video binaries are safely reclaimed.
- Expired Paid Tiers: Accounts un-renewed past the grace period enter a 60-day read-only recovery window. If an account remains un-renewed after 60 days, storage exceeding the Starter Free quota is subject to automated media reclamation, preceded by an email notification allowing 14 days to renew or download video archives.
- Agency Custom Domains & White-Labeling: Custom branded domains and white-labeled room configurations remain active throughout the 3-day grace period. Following grace, custom domain routing is placed into a 60-day suspended state (preserving your DNS configuration for immediate re-activation upon renewal) while review links safely fallback to standard Proofcut archive mode. After 60 consecutive days of non-renewal, custom hostnames are released from Edge routing.
- Limitation of Liability & Data Loss Waiver: You agree that Proofcut is not liable for the deletion, erasure, or reclamation of video files executed in accordance with this Inactivity and Storage Retention Policy. Users are advised to maintain local master copies of their video exports.
7. Service Availability & Performance
We strive for 99.9% uptime and ultra-fast video streaming performance across global edge networks. Proofcut is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation during scheduled infrastructure maintenance windows.
